With 7 roomy, heated in-ground pits strategically placed on 2 farms totaling 530 acres, there is plenty of room to let the birds work. Six of the 7 pits are on the water, some completely surrounded, but are easily accessible by land. Large decoy spreads are used and all types of decoys are used. Most shots are under 30 yards and on days when large numbers of geese are migrating it is not uncommon to have 500+ birds working the fields at one time. Experienced, friendly guides are available to make sure all hunters have the best hunting experience possible. You will enjoy the family atmosphere and meet hunters from throughout the country and there is usually always something good to eat too! |

Unlike many commercial hunting clubs, we do not take reservations for stand-by hunters. You and your friends or clients will go to the field first and enjoy a relaxing hunt. All you need to bring is your gun, ammo, warm clothes, a hunting license and stamps. We do not sell ammo or licenses but they are carried by several businesses in town that are open 24 hours. There is even a processing plant nearby to clean, smoke or freeze your birds. A wide variety of hotels and restaurants are available in Marion. Many of these businesses offer in-season discounts to hunters. A 10-minute drive can get you from your hotel room to the club. If you are looking for a place to hunt with friends or a way to entertain your clients, we would like to help you plan your trip. Pike's Hunting Club offers some of the finest goose and duck hunting you will find anywhere in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. |
